"We have been staying at Casa Bella now for 4 consecutive summers and it has become the family's favourite destination. The house is designed perfectly to accommodate 10 with enough living space, plenty of bathrooms, air con WiFi etc. and with a most breathtaking view. We Love the house, it is really comfortable. Secondly, we love our food (husband is a chef) and we have eaten the best foods in Istria. The olive oil, truffles, wine, hams etc. are all exceptional and prices are really reasonable. Lastly there are beautiful historic mountain towns we keep discovering every year; they are not busy and you can wander comfortably. Casa Bella is so comfortable."Susie McCrum , July 2017
"Stunning Large Farmhouse Style Villa, 2 Acres With Pool & Beautiful Surroundings
Beautiful villa in quiet location - amazing views!
Beautiful villa located just outside Vizinada and absolutely perfect for large family groups. The villa is very comfortable, lots of entertaining and relaxing spaces, great outdoor areas, lovely terrace upstairs with amazing views over the Mirna valley.
The bedrooms and bathrooms are all immaculate and the A/C was very welcome as it was as very hot when we were there. The website states that there is only A/C upstairs but in fact all the bedrooms have A/C as does the downstairs lounge room.
The house is very well equipped, the kitchen has everything that you need, the BBQ area was a bit hit!
There was a lovely welcome pack on our arrival which was a really nice touch.
We loved our stay at Casa Bella and would thoroughly recommend it to others."
"We had a very nice vacation in your lovely house! It was so beautiful there, both the house and the landscape were breathtaking."Patrick Cook, UK , July 2015
"Cleverly designed house - lovely location This is a beautifully designed villa built recently but out of traditional stone. There is a good number of bathrooms 5 bedrooms with air con and great TV room living space and an upper terrace designed to avoid direct sun. The pool is not big but was beautifully warm and fine for messing around in. There are steps down to a lower garden and although grounds are not big they were perfectly adequate. The outside covered eating area and BBQ were great for family meals. The kitchen divining area was well designed ( although a few more implements would have been nice). Overall we were very pleased with the stay. The local Aqua park and caving were a hit with the children."Ruth French, UK , August 2015
"Casa Bella’s stunning location makes for a truly relaxing holiday - especially for those weary parents with little ones in tow. The house is very well appointed with gorgeous views and the layout was ideally suited to our two families who shared it. With our children ranging from 8-1 we had everything we needed and were able to have some great days out in the local area. The local host was able to arrange a fabulous catered birthday meal for one of our party and we really did have everything that we needed. Local trips are plentiful and a day with a boat and skipper really helped us to explore and enjoy beautiful Croatia."Ewa Young/London , May 2014
"Casa Bella is perfect holiday villa. There is something there for everyone – my two energetic boys loved the gorgeous pool, masses of space around the house and the huge trampoline. I felt instantly relaxed sitting on the front terrace surrounded by enormous bushes of lavender sipping on the delicious local wine. My husband had a blast cooking up a storm using local delicacies : truffles, wild asparagus and seafood. The house is perched on a side of a valley with stunning and relaxing views of local vineyards ancient hill top. The nearby town of Porec with its ancient architecture offers additional attractions of local markets bars and some exceptional restaurants. Plenty of medieval hilltop villages that bear more than a passing resemblance to Tuscany. We would come back in a heartbeat.
"This june, we spent two really great weeks in Casa Bella. We were three families, so six adults and six children in the age of three to eight. We enjoyed the stay in Istria from the first day: The kids played the whole day, in the pool, footbal in the beautiful garden, table tennis, etc.... The surrounding especially the view from the house is fantastic.
I recommend necessarily a bike trip to Motovun (there are several mountain bikes in the house) through the forest and the visit of Konoba Bastia in Groznjan. We went there with all the kids two times for dinner and it was a very good place to eat connected with space for the kids (and so quiet dinner for the parents!).
The beaches are near, many places for sightseeing, too, so we didn't manage to visit everything - a reason to come again!
"Charlotte: "What a wonderful place your villa, the area and the
country is ! We really wished we'd had another week. Thank you for
contributing to a perfect holiday. Caroline [the local representative in Croatia] is super and very attentive."
John: "Can I reiterate Charlotte's comments that we had an amazing time and hope to be returning to Croatia sometime soon. It's like Italy used to be 30 years ago. Highlight for me was the jazz festival in Grojznan (sic)."
"WOW ! what a great property, the views are truly amazing, a huge modern spacious house on a hill top with a panoramic view for miles and miles. Great pool and wonderful entertainment space ! We could not recommend it highly enough - thanks again for a great holiday."
"The house was wonderful and everything was perfect. The view from the pool was breathtaking. We had an unforgettable time. The house is like heaven on earth!"Judy Tolliday, UK , 3-17 July 2010
"Fabulous house in a beautiful setting, views to die for. Beautifully furnished, not usual rented house furniture and very comfy beds...the swimming pool which everybody thought was fab (not overly chlorinated and a great length to get some much needed exercise!)."Maike Levermann, Germany , June 2012
"We had this wonderful week in Istria. All of us loved the time in your Casa Roma. Everything is fantastic: the view, the house, the pool, the people and the country. We saw a lot of Istria and I'm sure everybody of us comes back."Alan Sefton , 2013
“Our extended family, including a baby and a toddler, had an amazing week at Casa Roma. The villa was a wonderful place to unwind and to watch the youngsters enjoying themselves......swimming, cycling and exploring the unique countryside. Everyone enjoyed outings to deserted beaches and to fascinating hill-top towns. The grown-ups had time to discover some excellent restaurants and a taste for truffles. In short, a perfect holiday!” Alan Sefton
"Casa Bella is the dream holiday venue for our family. The pool, croquet, table tennis and satellite TV meant that the kids didn't even want to leave the villa, whilst the views from the comfy poolside chairs were more than enough to keep the grown-ups entertained. The local supermarket in Buzet had everything we needed at half the London price, and cooking in the huge kitchen was a pleasure. We'll be back for two weeks next time round!"Ann-Christin Soderlund, Casa Bella , 19-26 June 2010
"We were a group of 9 persons, 7 adults and two teenage girls, that spent a nice week in Casa Bella in Istria, Croatia in June 2010. The house is very beautiful and suited our needs very well. The scenery is pretty with valleys and hills and we spent a lot of time biking and hiking in the neighborhood. Close to the house there are several wine producers that offer wine tasting. One of the highlights of the week was one evening with dinner and an outdoor classical concert in Groznjan, one of the hilltop towns in the area. Groznjan is an extremely charming small town with many artists and galleries. A group of friends from Sweden"Tracey Blake, featured in 'London Lite' , July 2008
"The Va-Va Voom Villa" "We had hired Casa Bella through istriadeluxe.com, a small company that offers luxury holiday homes in this rural area. We had astonishing views of the green valley below, our own pool, five double bedrooms, a badminton court, 10 bikes at our disposal, a verandah kitted out with a table tennis table and the whole place was wired for sound so you could hear your tunes outside. No doubt about it, this was a party house. And, split between seven of us, this plush pad was setting us back only £285 each."
